Tafalla Carnival

Tafalla’s carnival is known for its creativity and grassroots participation. Revived in the early 1980s, the carnival has steadily grown in size and is a revelry of imagination and creativity. Its highlights include the festivities getting underway with a rural carnival day and the burning of the Lagunero effigy, a symbol of the local history, and the carnival parade on Sunday morning, brimming with colour, humour and tradition.
