Andelos Roman Festival

This festival will take you back to the heart of the Roman Empire in Central Navarre-Nafar Erdialdea. History comes to life at this event that was first held over twenty years ago; it includes a theatrical performance including the local residents; it re-enacts life at the Andelos Site 2000 years ago and disseminates the wealth of history of Mendigorria and its surrounding areas. The programme combines archaeology, theatrical shows and workshops that will whisk you back to Roman times. An experience for history lovers and families looking for something different to do.

This event is subsidised by the Government of Navarre-Nafarroako Gobernua and is part of the Network of Tourist Activities of the Central Navarre Consortium. The event, organised with the town council, is committed to sustainability and exclusivity and is part of the Turismo Bikaina-Turismo de 10 provincial sustainable tourism programme.
