February Fairs

These centuries-old fairs, which started out as horse fairs in 1419 during the reign of King Charles III of Navarre, are held in Tafalla every February. That spirit remains today with markets, music, traditions and good food that fill the streets with aromas and atmosphere during the weekend closest to 9 February.

This event is subsidised by the Government of Navarre-Nafarroako Gobernua and is part of the Network of Tourist Activities of the Central Navarre Consortium. The event, organised with the town council, is committed to sustainability and exclusivity and is part of the Turismo Bikaina-Turismo de 10 provincial sustainable tourism programme.
