21-22 August | Tiebas
Communal lunch, dramatised re-enactments, medieval jousting, workshops and shows are on the event’s programme. Tiebas becomes the Royal Court of Navarre once a year: the flag of the Theobald dynasty is raised at the castle and the town travels back to the Middle Ages. The event showcases its heritage, particularly its castle-palace of which today only the ruins remain of the royal seat of French dynasties, including Theobald II.
This event is subsidised by the Government of Navarre-Nafarroako Gobernua and is part of the Network of Tourist Activities of the Central Navarre Consortium. The event, organised with the town council, is committed to sustainability and exclusivity and is part of the Turismo Bikaina-Turismo de 10 provincial sustainable tourism programme.
