Water Festival

For the last twenty years, Pitillas has held this event with something for everyone: nature tourism, sports, guided tours, tastings, a traditional market, music, dance and traditions on display. The event showcases Pitillas Lagoon, a wetland of high environmental value, which has been a Natural Reserve since 1987, a Special Protection Area since 1991 and Wetland of International Importance since 1996. A perfect opportunity to enjoy what rural tourism has to offer and, also, to discover Pitillas Lagoon.

This event is subsidised by the Government of Navarre-Nafarroako Gobernua and is part of the Network of Tourist Activities of the Central Navarre Consortium. The event, organised with the town council, is committed to sustainability and exclusivity and is part of the Turismo Bikaina-Turismo de 10 provincial sustainable tourism programme.
